The are gorgeous waterfalls and rivers, a huge diversity of wildlife including Tucans, Howler Monkeys and one of the most important bird sanctuaries in the world.
Spend the day walking in the jungle and forests, or for the more adventerous, jump into some extreme downhill mountain biking, paintball, river tubing, abseiling and plenty more.
Minca is only 14km from Santa Marta and can easily be enjoyed in a day. Take a collectivo from the market place for $7000 COP or jump on a moto taxi at the hostel and zoom up the mountain side in the fresh air for only $10000 COP.
